  Eh, I think all the bad reviews are bunk. I went to Shields yesterday. They were busy, yet took the time to talk to me about my project and made sure I had what I needed if they sold it. To add to Glen Nelson's review/comment on their return policy. They have a ginormous white sign with bold red letters stating that they do not provide refunds, but will be happy to replace, exchange, or repair parts. > "Not a single price tag on anything in the store" - Cody Crusenberry Tagging products for a company, thats focuses on serving local commercial electronics repairmen, would be a waste of time/effort and would require that they increase their inventory prices. How would that make sense? They have to pay upfront for all their parts, shipping, etc. and compete with online shops that don't have to pay brick-n-mortar overhead can you really them to do otherwise? Get real. They stock a bunch of pieces of parts, mainly for telecom, A/V stuff, alarm systems, and industrial machinery, and minimal hobbyist prototyping stuff (what I was looking for). They carried enough odds and ends that I felt like my trip out there was worth it. Yes, most parts are cheaper online, however customer service and immediate availability are definitely a win.
